Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive construction plans and schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align construction activities with project objectives.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.
- Oversee all on-site construction activities, including site preparation, material procurement, and equipment installation.
- Ensure adherence to construction plans, specifications, and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage and allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Optimize resource utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Implement and enforce quality control and safety protocols on construction sites.
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local and international safety regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in construction management, preferably in the energy and oil & gas sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
