EPC Marine Civil Construction Manager to oversee the on-site execution of large-scale marine construction projects, including quay walls, breakwaters, beach profiling, dredging, and other related civil works. This role requires a hands-on leader with extensive technical knowledge, on-site management experience, and a commitment to delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and according to the highest safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction activities, coordinating teams to ensure all work is conducted in accordance with project schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
- Ensure efficient resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and project flow.
- Manage specialized marine civil construction projects, including (Quay walls, breakwaters, beach profiling, dredging, and other related civil works)
- Ensure all construction activities meet environmental guidelines and permitting requirements, upholding corporate sustainability standards.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate schedules, resolve site challenges, and align on project goals.
- Report progress, delays, and any site issues to senior management, ensuring transparency and proactive problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent.
- Deep knowledge of marine construction methodologies, including structural installation, coastal, and dredging operations.
- Familiarity with construction safety regulations, environmental compliance, and quality control best practices.
- Proven ability to lead diverse on-site teams effectively, maintain morale, and foster a collaborative, safety-focused work environment.
- Strong communication abilities and Leadership experience
