Overseeing the coordination of construction management capabilities, resources, and utilization across the Businessunits
Manage and oversees day to day construction management of the projects.
Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for all construction activities with respect to performance, procedure, and makingrecommendations to project managers for improvements and corrective actions
Define scope of work, roles, responsibilities, and deliverables of each disciplinePlan, direct, coordinate construction activities
Be a Construction representative to client
Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, andimplementation
Plan, lead and manages interdisciplinary work sequence and priority
Monitor and control project productivity to meet schedule and budget
Highlighting risks, scope change and develop mitigation plan to address concerns and challenges
Manage contractors with a focus on safety and quality, compliance with engineering drawings, applicable code andstandards, and construction schedule and cost
Interface and coordinate with Engineering supporting construction activities
Reviews and client interface liaison and project management team liaison
Prepare periodic management reports
Assist in developing and implementing corporate construction policies that support project construction
Overall responsibility to structure and oversee the Asia terminals project activities
Support planning and project development of new terminals and the expansion and major upgrading of existingterminals
Overview and monitor all major projects for cost effective, timely and safe execution on a monthly basis
Ensure technical compliance with relevant codes and legislation
Ensure that terminals are designed and built to high safety and quality standards
Develop standards for technical solutions, components, specifications, and project management
Develop and audit annual maintenance program and the critical equipment list of all terminals in Asia
Responsible for scoping, conceptual layouts, feasibility studies, engineering, procurement, contracts, quality control,construction supervision, etc.
Develop company standards tools/data for reliable cost estimates and cost control
Support corporate headquarters in developing Best Practice engineering library and design manual
Co-ordinate with Operation personnel in project development, commissioning, and handover
Oversee the implementation of Best Practice Technical Standards in all Asia terminals
Implement HSE objectives, policy, and company HSE procedures within his authority limit
To integrate Risk-based thinking and HSE considerations into business decisions, plans, and operations with thecommitment to eliminate and reduce HSE hazards, aspects and risks.
To be proactive in creating a safe working environment for everyone and ensuring thatHSE in-house rules are always observed.
To consider HSE aspects when planning and carrying out tasks to eliminate and reduce HSE hazards, aspects, andrisks.
Qualification and Experience
Preferably Degree/Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical, Construction Management or equivalent.
Preferably 5-8 years experience in construction experience in EPCM, EPCC sector.
Proven track records of successful project completion on time and on budget or exceeding expectations will be wellregards.
Demonstrated leadership experience and skills to manage large or multiple construction projects.
