As a Consultant or Specialist Gastroenterologist at SearchPlus HR, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality medical care for patients with various gastrointestinal disorders. Your role will involve evaluating patient conditions, conducting diagnostic tests, formulating treatment plans, and managing ongoing care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients medical histories and symptoms, and perform detailed gastrointestinal examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and imaging studies
- Diagnose a range of gastrointestinal ailments such as inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and liver disorders
- Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies, including medication management and lifestyle recommendations
- Perform advanced endoscopic procedures, including biopsies and polypectomies
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Remain current with the latest advancements in gastroenterology through continuous education and professional development
Requirements
- Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant or Specialist Gastroenterologist
- Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of gastrointestinal conditions
- In-depth understanding of gastroenterology practices and treatment methodologies
- Proficiency in conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests, including endoscopic procedures
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and collaborate with peers
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Able to work autonomously and as a valuable member of a healthcare team
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to navigate complex medical cases
