Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a skilled and experienced Consultant in Palliative Care to join our team in Dubai. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation and management of patients with complex and advanced illnesses, requiring palliative care.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans based on the patient's medical history, physical assessment, and identified needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for patients.
- Conduct regular assessments of patient pain levels and manage pain management plans effectively.
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on palliative care options and post-treatment care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments.
- Keep accurate and detailed patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Participate in continuous education and professional training to enhance skills and knowledge in palliative care.
Qualifications And Skills
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Palliative Medicine.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Palliative Care in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of pain management, symptom control, and end-of-life care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and compassionate skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in teaching and mentoring junior medical staff.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and proficiency in basic computer skills.
