As a Consultant Paediatric Haematologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and treatment to infants, children, and adolescents with various blood disorders and cancerous conditions at our prestigious hospital in Dubai. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and establish diagnoses for patients with blood disorders and cancerous conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans according to the latest medical guidelines and protocols
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide ongoing care to ensure the best possible outcomes
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team including nurses, pharmacists, oncologists, and radiologists
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms and side effects
- Contribute to research and training activities in pediatric hematology, and participate in relevant conferences and seminars
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients
- Adhere to all healthcare policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure high-quality standards of care
Qualifications And Experience
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Post-graduate education and training in pediatric hematology
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Paediatric Haematologist
- Board-certified or eligible in pediatric haematology
- Strong understanding of the latest diagnostic and treatment methods in pediatric hematology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid medical license to practice in Dubai
