We are searching for a skilled plastic surgeon to join our surgical team. As a plastic surgeon at Wizejob HR Consultancy, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, collaborating with a team of experienced professionals. You will be responsible for consulting with patients prior to surgery, advising them on the best surgical options and associated risks, and performing surgeries and patient follow-ups. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with patients of varying ages and backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with patients, take their medical histories, and examine their files to provide them with the best surgical options
- Outline the risks and benefits associated with the surgery and discuss them with the patients prior to the procedure
- Perform consultations with patients who have birth defects, injuries, burn wounds, or those who want to enhance their physical appearance
- Prepare patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures
- Prescribe medication like painkillers and antibiotics, and provide aftercare advice to patients
- Schedule follow-up appointments to remove stitches, inspect incisions, and monitor the patients healing progress
- Handle various administrative tasks, such as updating patient records and clinic policies
Requirements
Requirements:
- Degree in medicine
- Completed residency
- Additional courses and training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery
- Years of practical experience in surgery
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong understanding of patient aftercare and wound management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and impeccable bedside manner
