As a Consultant/Specialist in Cardiovascular Surgery, your primary focus will be on diagnosing and treating diseases and conditions of the cardiovascular system. Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients medical history, symptoms, and conduct comprehensive assessments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as echocardiograms, angiograms, and CT scans
- Diagnose and treat diseases and conditions of the cardiovascular system
- Perform complex cardiovascular surgical procedures, including bypass surgeries, valve repairs/replacements, and heart transplants
- Utilize advanced surgical techniques, technologies, and instruments to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor post-operative progress and manage complications as necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of cardiovascular surgery through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
- Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant/Specialist in Cardiovascular Surgery
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating diseases and conditions of the cardiovascular system
- Expertise in performing complex cardiovascular surgical procedures
- In-depth knowledge of advanced surgical techniques, technologies, and instruments specific to cardiovascular surgery
