About The Role
As a Consultant/Specialist Oral Dental Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating complex oral and dental conditions that require surgical intervention. You will be responsible for performing a range of advanced surgical procedures, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients oral health, medical history, and diagnostic test results to determine the need for oral surgical intervention
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans and provide expert guidance on complex cases
- Perform advanced oral surgical procedures, such as dental extractions, dental implant placements, orthognathic surgeries, and bone grafting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including restorative dentists and orthodontists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patients post-operative progress and manage any potential complications
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of oral dental surgery through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
- Dental degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant/Specialist Oral Dental Surgeon
- Proven experience in performing advanced oral surgical procedures
- Expertise in dental extractions, dental implant placements, orthognathic surgeries, and bone grafting
- In-depth knowledge of oral and maxillofacial anatomy, pathology, and surgical techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and provide guidance to patients
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to analyze complex cases and develop effective treatment plans
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
