SearchPlus HR is seeking a dedicated and skilled Consultant/Specialist Orthodontist to join our esteemed healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with dental and facial irregularities, specializing in orthodontic care.
Your responsibilities will include developing personalized treatment plans, applying orthodontic appliances, and ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment journey. You will work closely with dental assistants and other healthcare professionals to foster a collaborative approach to patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose dental and facial irregularities and recommend appropriate treatment plans
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as X-rays and dental impressions to assess patients
- Apply and adjust orthodontic appliances like braces and aligners
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Educate patients about treatment options, oral hygiene, and care
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Collaborate with other dental specialists to provide comprehensive care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in orthodontic techniques and technologies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the dental practice
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Completed residency program in Orthodontics
- Valid license to practice orthodontics
- Proven experience in orthodontic diagnosis and treatment
- Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures and appliances
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
