SearchPlus HR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Consultant/Specialist Orthodontist to join our team of dental healthcare professionals. In this role, you will focus on diagnosing and treating orthodontic issues that affect patients teeth, jaws, and facial structures. Your expertise will help patients achieve not only improved dental aesthetics but also enhanced oral health.
As a Consultant/Specialist Orthodontist, you will develop tailored treatment plans and utilize advanced orthodontic techniques and appliances to correct misaligned teeth and jaws. You will work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment, ensuring comprehensive care for each patient.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive examinations and assessments of patients dental and facial structures
- Diagnose orthodontic issues and develop customized treatment plans
- Utilize a variety of orthodontic appliances, including braces and aligners, to correct alignment issues
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene and the importance of maintaining braces and other orthodontic devices
- Work closely with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other specialists to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records
- Stay current on advancements in orthodontic techniques and technologies through continuous education
- Provide a compassionate and supportive environment for patients and their families
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
- Completed specialized training in Orthodontics from an accredited program
- Valid dental license with orthodontic specialization
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating orthodontic conditions
- In-depth knowledge of various orthodontic techniques and appliances
- Exceptional manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care
