As a Consultant Surgical Oncologist at SearchPlus HR, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality surgical care to patients with cancer.
As a Consultant Surgical Oncologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing cancer through surgical interventions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, implement state-of-the-art surgical techniques, and contribute to improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients medical history, symptoms, and conduct thorough clinical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as biopsies, imaging studies, and laboratory tests
- Discuss treatment options with patients and develop personalized surgical treatment plans
- Perform surgical procedures to remove cancerous tumors, lymph nodes, and other affected tissues
- Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including medical oncologists and radiation oncologists, to ensure comprehensive cancer care
- Manage post-operative care, monitor patients progress, and address any complications or side effects
- Participate in tumor board meetings and multidisciplinary discussions to review complex cases

Requirements
- Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant Surgical Oncologist
- Proven experience and expertise in performing surgical procedures for cancer treatment
- In-depth understanding of surgical oncology principles, practices, and treatment options
