Position Summary
He/She will be responsible for managing the consumer electronics category- Online.
Role And Responsibilities
- Research and analyze data and market insights.
- Search for insights into consumer needs.
- Plan and implement long-term development strategies for product categories.
- Design exit strategies for unsuccessful products & EOLs.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with eStore Partner.
- Strategize positioning of a product category in order to maximize its visibility.
- Collaborate with the marketing team & KAM Team.
- Research competitors and suggest appropriate pricing and promotional activities.
- Work with customers and merchandisers and find new ways of expanding product categories.
- Calculate forecasts for product demand trends.
- Manage and track budget.
- Plan and Implement Category Promotion Calendar.
- Ensure supply and financial objectives achieved.
- Working closely with Relevant Stakeholders to share funnel conversion improvement ideas, feedback & present results.
- Ensuring Successful planning, execution, optimization for key traffic KPIs via paid, organic & own media channels.
- Work closely with Digital Marketing team to drive campaigns across all digital channels to drive strong return on investment and efficiency.
Skills And Qualifications
- BA in business administration, marketing or similar relevant field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as e commerce / Category Manager.
- Expertise in category management.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing and sales operations and processes.
- Hands on experience with analyzing big data and making forecasts.
- Sales background (forecast, promotion, margin, & pricing).
- Analytical and critical thinker.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
