Job Description

About this role:

  • Contract Development and Review:

Develop, review, and negotiate contracts for construction and landscape projects.

Ensure contracts align with legal requirements, project specifications, and budget constraints.

  • Risk Management:

Identify potential risks in contracts and propose mitigation strategies.

Collaborate with legal and project teams to address contractual risks.

  • Compliance:

Ensure that all contracts comply with industry regulations, local building codes, and environmental standards.

Stay updated on changes in regulations that may affect contracts.

  • Budget Oversight:

Work closely with the finance department to ensure that contracts align with project budgets.

Monitor and control costs associated with contracts.

  • Contract Administration:

Oversee the administration of contracts throughout the project lifecycle.

Work with central legal function to resolve contractual disputes and issues as they arise.

Keep up-to-date repository of contracts and centralised database of contract summaries.

  • Communication:

Foster effective communication between internal teams, contractors, and clients.

Keep stakeholders informed about contract-related matters.

Work with central legal function on ongoing basis to update contracts and protect against risk.

  • Quality Assurance:

Implement and monitor quality assurance measures outlined in contracts.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure deliverables meet contractual standards.

Ensure compliance at all times with internal group governance.

Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities:

In addition to all job-specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Basatin health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible to familiarize themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Khidmah HSE department regularly updates existing and introduce new policies, procedures, and practices and each employee is personally responsible to ensure they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions.

Information Security responsibilities:

  1. Comply with Basatin Information Security Policies
  2. Be aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilities
  3. Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness Training
  4. Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec).
  5. Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or Antivirus
  6. Restrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.
  7. Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentiality
