The Job in a Nutshell

At Hala, the Contract manager is responsible of ensuring that services, spare parts, consumables & tools are purchased from specified suppliers and are delivered according to agreed terms and conditions. An important aspect of this role is seeking maximum value for the company through time and cost agreements while working with Railway and facility products

What You Will Do

Contract Development and Negotiation:

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and compliance with company policies.

Work closely with legal, procurement (sourcing), and other relevant teams to develop comprehensive contract agreements.

Ensure that all contracts are aligned with company goals, regulations, and industry best practices.

Contract Administration:

Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation and approval to renewal and termination.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all supplier contracts.

Monitor contract compliance and address any deviations or issues promptly.

Supplier Performance Management:

Performance Metrics and KPIs:

Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supplier performance.

Regularly review supplier performance against KPIs and contractual obligations.

Conduct performance reviews with suppliers to discuss results, areas for improvement, and corrective actions.

Compliance andReporting:

Ensure all supplier contracts and activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Stay updated on changes in regulations and adjust contracts and practices accordingly.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare and present regular reports on supplier performance, contract status, and risk management to senior management.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of all supplier interactions, performance reviews, and contract modifications.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Internal Stakeholder Coordination:

Collaborate with internal teams such as procurement (Sourcing), legal, finance, and operations to align supplier management activities with company objectives.

Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract and supplier performance issues.

Supplier Development:

Work with suppliers to develop their capabilities and ensure they can meet current and future requirements.

Support supplier onboarding and training programs to align them with company standards and expectations.

Data Collection and Management:

Gather, clean, and organize procurement data from various internal and external sources.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement databases and dashboards.

Ensure data integrity and consistency across all procurement reporting systems.

Reporting:

Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide insights into procurement performance and trends.

Prepare detailed analytical reports for senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Analyze supplier performance data to evaluate reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Market Analysis:

Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to support procurement strategies.

Benchmark procurement performance against industry standards and best practices.

What Are We Looking For

Bachelor's degree in business, finance or equivalent field of studies

The education levels can be replaced by years of experience

4-5 years of experience in a similar role

Computer Skills: Advanced in Microsoft Office Tools

Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic

Advanced knowledge of compliance and regulations
