We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare, maintain, administer, evaluate, and review requests for quotations, tenders, and contracts in accordance with the Group's procurement policies and procedures to achieve value for money.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-contract activities following established policies and procedures to meet business needs.
Participate in negotiations to establish and review supply arrangements.
Analyze and interpret complex contract data, identify potential risks, and recommend risk management strategies.
Implement and develop contract management plans, resolve issues, monitor performance, and negotiate contract variations.
Liaise with Business Units, Legal, and Finance departments on contract-related matters.
Monitor the financial activity of contracts and subcontracts.
Conduct market research to enhance professional knowledge.
Validate business needs, compile and source market information, and assist in analyzing markets.
Evaluate existing and potential suppliers, identify new suppliers, agree on terms, and negotiate supply agreements, including discount structures and volume rebates.
Identify, mitigate, and escalate procurement risks.
Communicate relevant contracts/procurement information to superiors and Business Units.
Resolve and/or escalate issues timely.
Maintain contract records to facilitate management reporting.
Ensure business objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met promptly.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree in business administration, Business Economics, or related fields.
Additional qualifications in law are a plus.
Professional Certification will be an added advantage.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar position within a procurement function.
Solid knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Ariba).
Industry Experience in Facility Management Industries
