Job Purpose
Considering the anticipated increase in LSA business volumes the current staff in materials department need resources to ensure timely actions are taken to address day to day contract management and supply chain issues.
Job Context
To provide support in data handling and updating AX on all Contract management and Supply chain activities to ensure timely and reliable responses to sales team on order status. Also ensure that AX data is reflecting the actual situation both in progress of sales orders and purchase orders
Job Dimensions
The Job involves regular and close interactions with all functions of the business specifically Sales and Production. Will also have exposure to supplier interaction during vendor development activities and hence involves travelling on business
Key Accountabilities
These will include:
Dynamic updates of Sales order status on the production plan
Ensure Sales order dates on AX is in line with planned production
Delays in any production schedules are flagged up and communicated to sales well in advance
Create and maintain item masters, Bills of Materials on AX.
Engineering changes (ECNs) are actioned on AX and communicated to rest of operations team
Disconnect in BOMs with physical practices are identified, corrected and concluded in AX and production
Be a point of contact with QA and AFTER SALES to close out customer complaints pertaining to products supplied
Ensure product costs are updated and maintained dynamically on AX
Update all BOS KPIs pertaining to contracts management and purchasing
Liase with stores to ensure parts required for the weeks production are issued
Liase with production and stores to ensure spares and accessories are ready with Main FGs
Ensure timely closure of NCRs pertaining to suppliers
Create and conclude Outsourcing documentation in line with Lucy processes
Close the loop with QA regarding new samples approvals from suppliers
Maintain new vendor development status file
Track and report cost reductions/savings and BENA progress achieved
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Bachelor of Engineering -Electrical/Mechanical
Sound background of engineering processes used in components manufacturing and ETO and ATO business.
At least 2 years of experience in supply chain function in a reputed manufacturing environment
Hands on exposure to working on internationally recognised ERP platforms, preferably Microsoft AX D365
Sound knowledge of supply chain concepts and supply strategy.
Good level of competence in excel and power point and other MS office applications
Good knowledge of suppliers in KSA
