OVERALL PURPOSE
Provides legal advice and services to the business on issues concerning the rights, obligations and privileges of the organization
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ensure proper review of contracts, agreements, and legal documents to minimize NWC's legal risks and exposure
Formulate legal policies, procedures, guidelines and processes
Ensure the policies and procedures are applied, to Ensure all employee are educated on compliance and regulations related topics, policies and procedures.
Provide legal advise concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
Review complaints and lead internal inquiries on issues submitted to Legal Affairs
Study lawsuits and represent the company in all cases filed by or against NWC in judicial courts and other relevant authorities and defend NWC's position and property
Prepare status reports on active and closed lawsuits to inform the management
Direct the development of standard legal terms, conditions, agreements and contracts templated to be used for all NWC's contractual engagements.
Align all master agreements (with vendors, partners, client, etc.) across the company in coordination with relevant stakeholder.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Law or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
4-6
