Job Description

repare and cook a wide range of African dishes.
  • Ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards, with attention to flavor, presentation, and authenticity.
Develop and maintain an inventory of African ingredients, including spices, grains, and meats.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and update the menu, introducing new and exciting African dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage portion control, minimize waste, and ensure cost-effective food production.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in the preparation of African dishes.
  • Assist with food ordering, inventory management, and supplier relationships.
Adapt recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences while maintaining the integrity of the dish.
  • Stay updated on trends and innovations in African cuisine.


  • Qualifications:
Proven experience as an African Cook or similar role in a professional kitchen.
  • In-depth knowledge of African cuisines, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
Ability to create authentic and innovative African dishes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Culinary school diploma or relevant certification is a plus.

Pay: AED1,
  • 00 - AED2,500.00 per month
