Coordinator - Finance | MAF Retail | Head Office Jordan
Role Summary
The Coordinator Finance (Treasury) is responsible for financial postings covering the area of treasury ledgers to ensure that precise data are updated to the system and are properly executed in line with MAF Retail's established financial accounting principles and procedures. The role holder is also responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting in addition to ensuring all bookkeeping functions are timely and properly executed.
ROLE PROFILE
- Check the accounting entries relating to financial transactions for accuracy and conformance to accounting policies and pass them for superior consideration.
- Maintain and review purchase ledgers to ensure that all expenses are accurately posted and monitored against the set budget.
- Provide training and feedback to direct reportees when required.
- Process payments to vendors and contractors as per the contract's terms, including advance payment and penalties.
- Ensure revenue collections are aligned with bank accounts statements and maintain and review sales ledger to ensure that actual sales report are generated.
- Maintain and review sales ledger to ensure that actual sales report are generated.
- Support the manager in preparing and reviewing the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting statements and managerial reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare bank reconciliations for all accounts in different banks to ensure that entries in the journals are matched and aligned with the bank statements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- 0-2 years experience in a relevant role
- 1+ years in the retail business is prefered
- Excellent Analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to details
