Copywriter

We are seeking a talented and experienced Copywriter to join a prominent semi-governmental organization in Abu Dhabi.

This role emphasizes editorial content creation, with a focus on producing high-quality, engaging material across various media. The ideal candidate will have a flair for storytelling, an eye for detail, and a strong understanding of content strategy and brand voice.

This is a 12 month renewable contract based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop compelling editorial content, including articles, blogs, and digital media, that aligns with the organization's brand voice and objectives.
• Work closely with internal teams to research, ideate, and write informative and engaging content for a diverse audience.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with broader communication strategies and campaigns.
• Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics, incorporating relevant data and insights to produce accurate, engaging, and original content.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Optimize content for search engines (SEO) where applicable.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in editorial and digital content creation.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in copywriting, particularly focused on editorial and digital content.
• Proven experience creating content for editorial, web, and social media channels.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and SEO best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Availability:

Preference will be given to candidates who are immediately available or can join within 30 days of receiving an offer.
