- Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and effective solution for the application's infrastructure design within project constraints
- Responsible for identifying and communicating functional issues and risks associated with solutions and participates in infrastructure design review
- Defines, promotes and encourages the use of engineering practices. Identifies opportunities for new applications
- Provides consulting and coaching of the system functionalities. Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify complex information systems
- Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary
- Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications
- Analyzes systems requirements and existing business processes and information systems and develops cost-effective information techno logy solutions
- Serves as liaison between application systems and business for the development of new system processes and application programs
- Participates in complex application systems analysis projects
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science or equivalent (a combination of education and experience will be considered). Prior leadership experience, in a technology company is a must.
High level of Arabic and English interpersonal skills and communication skills both written and oral.
Experience
Candidates must have 10+ years of Technical Development management experience, with at least 4:5 years as an IT practitioner, including planning, installation, configuration and implementation of enterprise-wide, server-based computing environments. Candidate must be familiar with Project Management Office activities, including experience managing development teams and wide-scale, enterprise-wide implementations.

- Experience in T24/Globus is mandatory/ Very good understanding of all the modules involved
- Minimum of 10 years experience in T24 Core banking System
- Over 5 years of experience in T24 implementations with at least two implementations in a private banking client
- Experience in T24/Globus performance fine tuning activities / projects is preferred
- Strong working knowledge in jBASE and UNIX/Working knowledge of system and hardware architecture is a plus
- T24 Application Development experiences/ Knowledge in UNIX platform/Exposure to T24 functionalities
- Deep understanding of T24 product functionality including core banking and other business modules
- Good understanding of T24 architecture including integration capabilities
- Knowledge in Application / Interfaces Design, Development & Implementation
- Knowledge of various T24 components (TCServer, JBase, Versions, Enquiries, mainline routines, various types of validation routines, TSM services ...etc.)
- Implementation experience and knowledge of key features of the latest versions of T24 is preferred
- Deep knowledge and understanding of banking operation business processes
- Good understanding of retail and corporate banking business processes will be an advantage
