Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Corporate Art of Food Director at SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises in Cairo, Egypt.

The Corporate Art of Food Director will be responsible for overseeing food service, food science, budgeting, quality assurance, and food safety measures on a daily basis to ensure the highest standards of culinary excellence at all properties.

Develops the targets and goals of restaurants or other food operations. To establish a menu, hire chefs and other staff, plan budgets, and present a professional demeanor that communicates a corporate philosophy of service.

Your responsibilities are to supervise food preparation and kitchen staff, train kitchen staff in policies and procedures to maintain the highest quality standards, maintain correct staff levels and proper management of order systems, prepare meals using pertinent dietary guidelines, create menus, recipes and production notes as required, and ensure proper meal portions are served to avoid waste.

  • Food Service and Food Science expertise
  • Budgeting skills for managing culinary operations
  • Quality Assurance and Food Safety knowledge
  • Experience in menu planning and culinary innovation
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Certifications in food safety and quality management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • Computing Platforms
