Our Deals Corporate Finance practice helps some of the world's leading companies across various industries originate, create, execute, and realize value from deals. This role offers the opportunity to build a career within our M&A advisory practice, servicing our clients by providing advice, evaluating investment opportunities, and supporting negotiations and executions of diverse transactions. These transactions range from minority investments to transformational acquisitions, divestitures, landmark joint ventures, leveraged buyouts, strategic advisory assignments.The successful candidate will play a critical role in the team in delivering M&A consulting services to clients within the financial services industry (including banking, insurance, leasing, fintech, asset management, NBFI providers, etc.) across the MENA region. Our team is led by experienced M&A professionals with a solid background in global deal advisory who will encourage you to go beyond the numbers and think creatively.
Our team focuses on playing the role of lead financial advisers in sell-side and buy-side transactions.

The Role

As a Corporate Finance Manager, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to prepare and execute complex transactions.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Executing of M&A transactions including acquisitions, disposals, mergers, and joint ventures

  • Execute various parts of the transactions, performing data driven analysis, preparing presentation materials for client meetings

  • Lead thorough research on companies and industries, particularly within the financial services sector

  • Preparing internal and external marketing materials such as teasers, confidential information memoranda (CIM), and management presentations

  • Preparing comprehensive financial models to support evaluation of investment opportunities during proposals and execution phases

  • Running valuation analysis using various applicable valuation methodologies

  • Obtaining necessary information from available client data and conducting appropriate financial analysis

  • Managing the entire transaction execution process, including overseeing due diligence processes conducted by third-party providers, preparing status reports, and managing multiple counterparts to meet transaction deadlines

  • Actively participating in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities with new and existing clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA) is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment banking, valuations or related fields

  • Prior exposure to end-to-end Merger & Acquisition deal execution and understanding of the M&A transaction process and key execution steps

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills

  • Excellent understanding of financial statements and valuation techniques (experience in Insurance / Bank / Non-bank / FinTech companies is a plus)

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Arabic speaking is considered a plus.

  • Flexibility to travel 15% of the time, with frequent overnight stays as required. Where possible, we will consider your preferences to balance career development, personal needs, business requirements, and client needs.
