The Role
As a Corporate Finance Senior Associate, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to prepare and execute complex transactions. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assisting in the execution of M&A transactions including acquisitions, disposals, mergers, and joint ventures.
Conducting thorough research on companies and industries, particularly within the financial services sector.
Assisting in the preparation of internal and external marketing materials such as teasers, confidential information memoranda (CIM), and management presentations.
Preparing comprehensive financial models to support analysis in proposals and transaction documentation.
Obtaining necessary information from available client data and conducting appropriate financial analysis.
Supporting the team in the preparation and presentation of marketing pitches to existing and potential clients.
Managing the entire transaction execution process, including overseeing due diligence processes conducted by third-party providers, preparing status reports, and managing multiple counterparts to meet transaction deadlines.
Actively participating in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities with new and existing clients.
Developing internal relationships and enhancing your PwC brand.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA) is preferred.
3+ years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment banking, valuations or related fields.
Prior exposure to end-to-end Merger & Acquisition deal execution and understanding of the M&A transaction process and key execution steps
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Excellent understanding of financial statements and valuation techniques (understanding of financial services specifics is a plus)
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
High level of attention to detail and accuracy with an ability to work under pressure
Arabic speaking is considered a plus
Flexibility to travel 15% of the time, with frequent overnight stays as required. Where possible, we will consider your preferences to balance career development, personal needs, business requirements, and client needs
