Job Description
- Regularly analyze the costs of the company's products, services, projects, or activities, including direct and indirect costs, fixed and variable costs, and identifying trends or areas for cost reduction.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, comparing actual costs to budgeted/forecasted figures.
- Control the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Process.
- Work with different departments to implement cost control measures and efficiency improvements.
- Analyze the impact of cost changes on product pricing and overall profitability
- Conduct internal audits of financial procedures and policies to ensure cost control measures are followed.
- Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend improvements. Work with other teams to streamline operations and reduce costs without sacrificing quality
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related
- Certified Cost Analyst or CPA is highly desirable
- At least 2-3 years experience in a similar role and industry.
- Bilingual (Arabic/English speaker) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in SAP/ BI / Power BI or other similar tools is an asset.
- Advanced usage of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles and cost accounting standards.
- Knowledge of ABC costing & ABC tools
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
