With a planned investment of 20 Million USD and a goal of opening 200 restaurants within 5 years, Sky Restaurants offers diverse cuisines and brands to satisfy the Egyptian market's needs and deliver a unique customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cost control strategies to minimize food and beverage expenses.
- Oversee inventory management systems, ensuring accurate ordering, receiving, and storage procedures.
- Conduct regular cost analyses to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor food waste and spoilage, developing strategies for reduction.
- Prepare comprehensive cost control reports for management review.
- Collaborate with chefs and restaurant managers to optimize menu pricing and portion control.
- Perform month end close activities related to Cost Accounting.
- Prepares estimates of new and proposed product cost
- Participate in stock counting process.
- Conduct Monthly Reports for Inventory ex. (Ending inventory, physical count, requested goods)
- Ensure that all production costs are properly taken in the cost of sales and inventory costs.
- Analyzing the overhead costs and variable costs of the company to ensure smooth accountancy.
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies and analyzing the variances
- Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in food and beverage cost control, ideally within a restaurant setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient in SunSystems cost control software
- A passion for the restaurant industry and a deep understanding of food and beverage operations.
