Country Manager - Western Province

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a seasoned Country Manager to spearhead the sales efforts in the Western Province. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in sales leadership and a passion for driving substantial business growth within the travel industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of sales representatives, establishing clear performance goals and conducting regular evaluations.
- Formulate and execute effective sales strategies in collaboration with regional management to meet organizational objectives.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and overcome challenges.
- Ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets on a consistent basis, implementing initiatives to improve sales performance.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing partners while expanding the customer base.
- Provide ongoing training and support for new partners joining the travel platform and maintain strong commercial ties with all stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site visits to engage with clients and explore new business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience with a history of surpassing targets.
- 5-8 years in a leadership role, preferably within the online travel sector or relevant fields.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in B2B sales and negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with BI tools for performance tracking.
- Fluent in English and the local language, with exceptional communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently and possess a valid driving license.
