The Role
Savills Middle East seeks a dynamic Creative & Design Manager to join our regional team. This role will drive creative strategies and develop visually compelling assets across various areas including corporate, commercial, research, publications, campaigns, video editing, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design, a passion for creativity, and a keen eye for detail. Additionally, the Creative & Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing and collaborating with other designers, as well as managing freelancers to ensure the successful execution of projects. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the regional team to understand project requirements and marketing objectives.
- Work with a team of designers, fostering a creative work environment.
- Conceptualise and create visually stunning marketing materials, including but not limited to brochures and capability statements, case studies, digital and print advertisements, social media graphics, brochures, presentations, video content, signage and campaigns.
- Assist in the creation of and edit videos including promotional and educational videos, talking heads, presentations, etc. as required.
- Create mock-ups and storyboards as required to present design and video concepts to stakeholders for feedback.
- Ensure all designs adhere to Savills brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
- Utilise innovative design concepts and techniques to effectively communicate key messages and engage target audiences.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, including photographers, copywriters, and printers, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Identify project needs and recruit, onboard, and manage freelance designers as needed.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to designers and freelancers, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in design, marketing, and real estate to continuously enhance creative strategies and outputs.
Skills, Knowledge And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the real estate or related industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and other relevant graphic design and video editing software.
- Great attention to detail to prevent errors whilst incorporating content and avoid duplication of efforts.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout design, colour theory, and composition.
- Experience with motion graphics creation, video editing, and post-production techniques.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability and confidence to clearly articulate design concepts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and positive attitude, and openness to feedback.
- Portfolio demonstrating a range of creative projects and proven track record of delivering high-quality design solutions.
- Experience managing and mentoring designers, as well as working with freelancers or external agencies.
- Willingness to upskill by learning new skills, techniques, and software as needed.
