Responsible for overseeing and guiding the creative direction of the DMC. This includes creative services in design & production for the DMC
Leading a multi-functional creative team (part in house, part outsourced) of designers, content producers, photographers, videographers, project managers and copywriters guiding them to produce compelling and effective work that aligns with the brand's objectives, from ideation through to final projects.
Responsible for all aspects of the creative process, ensuring high-quality and innovative solutions across various projects
Job Scope
- Develop and maintain the overall creative vision for the DMC
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, target audience, and market trends to inform creative strategies.
- Translate strategic objectives into creative concepts and executions that drive engagement and deliver results.
- Provide creative solutions to business challenges including the enhancement of the in-facility consumer journey and quality of external marketing communication.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the DMC creative team of designers, content producers, photographers, videographers, project managers and copywriters.
- Lead the team in the creation and implementation of highly sharable / demographic relevant content that is creative, engaging and on-brand for consideration & conversion campaigns and ecommerce platforms. Working with the performance marketing team, develop an integrated Creative Services Contribution strategy with the objective of increasing brand awareness, engagement and conversion across all channels.
- Constant focus on learning and development for the team with the goal to maximize business efficiency and build innovative and creative leaders of the future.
- Direct the development of creative concepts with commercial, non-commercial, graphic, multimedia and motion graphics designs across the business.
- Oversee the creation and production of marketing and operational pre-opening creative deliverables for all new brand development.
- Ensure all creative assets maintain brand consistency and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Ensure consistency in multilingual tone-of-voice and compliance with IP naming conventions for copywriting and translations across all theme park / attraction / destination(s) brand(s).
- Review and approve all final deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and align with project objectives.
- Manage and direct key photography shoots and filming projects
- Work closely with international IP's and brand owners on brand guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Requirements
Essential:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is usually required. Common majors include Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Arts or Advertising.
- 5+ years of experience in creative field.
- Experience in a leadership or management role.
- Experience managing a creative team and leading projects
- Understanding of design principles, advertising, marketing, and branding is essential.
- Mastery of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Knowledge of production processes for various media, including print, digital, and video
Desirable:
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative concepts, designs, and campaigns across various media channels.
- Certifications in relevant areas such as graphic design, project management, or leadership.
- Experience in a specific industry or sector relevant to the employer (e.g., fashion, entertainment, technology).
- Ability to lead, inspire a creative team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts effectively.
