• Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Full-Time Dance Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, a strong background in competitive and show choreography, and expertise in a range of dance styles, with a specialism in Jazz, Commercial, or Contemporary dance. This role requires a dedicated individual who is committed to guiding students in their journey into the dance industry and higher education.

• Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality dance instruction across a variety of styles, with a focus on your area of specialism (Jazz, Commercial, or Contemporary).

• Choreograph and oversee competitive and show performances, ensuring students are well-prepared and confident.

Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that supports student development and confidence.

• Communicate industry expectations clearly to students, helping them understand the demands and standards of professional dance.

Work collaboratively with other faculty members to create a cohesive and supportive educational environment.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to students as they prepare for auditions, competitions, and applications to further education.

Stay informed of current industry trends, techniques, and educational practices to ensure that instruction is relevant and up-to-date.

• Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in dance.

• Proven experience in competitive and show choreography.

Expertise in a range of dance styles with a specialism in Jazz, Commercial, or Contemporary.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to set clear expectations while maintaining a supportive teaching approach.

A team player who is willing to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the program.

• A positive, confident, and encouraging demeanor, with a genuine passion for helping students succeed.

Relevant industry experience or educational background is essential.
