Job Description
You will be responsible for
Design and develop STA s big data platform (Sidr), including platform roadmap, architecture, data procurement, integration, management, an AI modelling to empower the whole ecosystem (STA, trade, government and visitors) with evidence-based decision-making
Provide inputs on STA s data framework and architecture, and ensure all data collected, processed and stored is in line with established data governance protocols
Work closely with the Performance Insights and Market Insights departments within Tourism Data & Insights to understand and fulfil their data structuring, model development and big data analysis requirements
Develop analytics tools, machine learning algorithms and statistical methods for use in descriptive, predictive and prescriptive modelling
Work closely with the Market Insights department within Tourism Data & Insights to integrate outcomes from STA s proprietary capabilities (e.g., BHT, VoV, GTP) with other data streams to inform ongoing business needs
Support STA s other business functions on their business requirements that can be serviced through advanced analytics / data science
Develop and roll out BI solutions and dashboards for all STA functions and external users, in accordance with the business requirements from the Performance and Market Insights teams
Identify various internal and external sources for reliable and accurate data and information that can be leveraged for STA
Provide inputs to IT on the data architecture requirements, including enterprise data model and reference data architecture
Devise and recommend data-driven solutions to pressing challenges across the organization
Manage relationships with data providers to ensure consistency and scale across STA
Perform other activities as and when required
You will need
At least 12 years of experience in relevant field
Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent is preferred
