About the job:
Manage all organization-wide data governance activities and will have responsibility for improving the quality and managing the protection of sensitive data and information assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementing and executing business-led data governance initiatives to ensure the quality of the upstream part of the data value chain, also with an End-To-End view and understanding
Know the data from both perspectives (business and technical) and understand the business requirements of data quality and translate them to technical solutions
Understand the purpose and usage of the data of specific use cases with solid Explorative Data Analytics skills
Deliver and sustain high data-quality End-to-End solutions alongside the Data owners
Work with a multidisciplinary team (Data Scientist, BI Analysts, Insights Expert, Master Data, Data Curator and Vendors) with strong problem-solving skills, e.g. Active listening, Research, Creativity, Communication, etc.
Implement the data standard and data quality rules, monitor the adoption level and be able to own the tooling and codes for changes and updates

Master's degree preferred or degree emphasis in Computer Science, Engineering, or data-related subjects with a minimum of 3+ years of Data Analytics experience required
Proven track record of understanding business challenges and translating them into value-add and technically capable end solutions
Data wrangling and engineering skills: from simple Excel v-lookup to advanced ETL, e.g. Python, SQL, PySpark, and not needing to mention understanding data models and doing the data modelling by yourself
Data platform: SQL DB, Data Warehouse, Data lake, Databricks
Strong project management and accountability
Strong leadership presence
Good at translating model outputs into business language and generating insights.
Excellent ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including Executive team
A strong working knowledge and experience in data management
