Position Objectives
Formulation of data management, Governance and privacy policies, procedures, and standards to ensure alignment with NDMO guidelines
Job Description and Responsibilitie
- sFormulation of data management and privacy policies, procedures, and standards to ensure alignment with NDMO guideline
- sProvision of technical guidance and expertise to resolve data management disputes across system
- sFrequent scanning of data regulatory requirements at all levels (national and international
- )Ensuring relevant updates in data regulations are captured and reflecte
- dTrack and manage all open complaints concerning data and develop a resolution pla
- nEnsure relevant data privacy controls are applied, and effective monitoring and compliance activities are performed in alignment with the client's Cybersecurity tea
- mEnhance maturity levels across client enterprises through periodic data maturity assessments, and compliance audits and suggest initiatives or corrective action
- sDefine roles and responsibilities regarding data governance and ensure clear accountability for the stewardship of the main data asset
- sManage data governance activities including NDMO policies procedures and data classification
- sDevelop the data catalogue using market tool
- sReview data architecture and information/ data flow maps and chart
- sBuild monitoring mechanisms to ensure compliance in managing data across the organizatio
nQualification and Experienc
- eCDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) Certification is preferre
- dStrong knowledge of data privacy regulations, both national and internationa
- lExperience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks and policie
- sAbility to collaborate with Cybersecurity teams and ensure compliance with data privacy control
- sFamiliarity with NDMO guidelines and data management standard
- sExcellent skills in conducting data maturity assessments, compliance audits, and recommending corrective action
