Job Summary:
As a Data Management Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in translating business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment between business needs and IT capabilities. Responsibilities include analyzing data, identifying trends, and proposing solutions to improve business processes and outcomes. The role requires strong analytical skills, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business, data, and technology teams, ensuring that business requirements are clearly understood and translated into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify data needs and requirements, and work with the Analytics & Insights Team to deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
- Analyze complex data sets to extract valuable insights and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data management processes, business requirements, and data dictionaries.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data management and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in data management and analysis.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working in a data team, with expertise in identifying, scoping, and developing data analytics solutions.
- Demonstrable experience as a Technical Business Analyst, System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, with strong PL/SQL skills to support discovery and requirements analysis.
- Ability to work with raw and aggregated data, review transformation logic, and handle diverse and complex data sets and all data types.
- Experience working in the financial services industry and knowledge of data-related business requirements for the financial service sector.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and present findings to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose effective solutions.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment.
