Position Objectives:
We are seeking experienced Data Migration Specialists to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing data migration projects, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to business operations.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Develop data migration strategies and plans.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from legacy systems to new systems.
- Ensure data quality and integrity during migration.
- Create and maintain documentation for data migration processes.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation.
- Analyze data sources and target systems.
- Design ETL processes using tools like SAP Data Services, Informatica, or custom scripts.
- Execute data migration tasks and monitor progress.
- Validate migrated data for accuracy and completeness.
- Troubleshoot data migration issues and resolve discrepancies.
- Document migration processes and provide status updates.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data migration roles.
- Experience with ETL tools and data migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
