Data Modeller II

Job Purpose:

As a Data Modeler II at Floward, you will play a critical role in shaping our data infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support our data-driven initiatives. You will design, develop, and optimize scalable data models that meet complex business requirements.

What Youll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
• Implement robust data quality checks and validation processes.
• Optimize and align data platforms with industry best practices.
• Document data models and ensure clear communication across teams.

What Were Looking For:

• 3-5 years of experience in data modeling, with expertise in relational and dimensional data modeling.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with modern data stack tools (e.g., DBT, Erwin, PowerDesigner, SqlDBM).
• Proven experience in designing and implementing ETL pipelines for integration and migration.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Expertise in Git and GitHub, with a focus on collaborative development and version control best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
