Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Presales Consultant at WOREX Technology in Cairo, Egypt. The Data Presales Consultant will be responsible for providing analytical support, engaging in consulting activities, supporting sales efforts, managing projects, and leading presales initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support business development activities by leading Big Data solution visioning with customers, including development of Hadoop architecture, design, integration and development plans
- Performs requirement analysis, architecture, design, development, integration, performance tuning, rollout, support and optimization of customer's Big Data implementations
- Researches and resolves installation, configuration, deployment and upgrade issues
- Mentors customer's staff members in the use of Big Data and Pentaho technologies and best practices
- Develops applications demonstrating the use of Pentaho product's advanced functionality and APIs
- Participates in the on-boarding and mentoring of other consultants
- Develop Key Enterprise Customers and address their current and new business/applications for up selling products, new solutions and other storage management software
- Assist sales division to help define opportunities and close large opportunities with the right Solutions and mapping key Value propositions to BFSI customers business

Qualifications
- Experience with data management and analysis techniques, including data integration, machine learning, and data visualization also experience in Data governance, data quality concepts.
- 7+ years of proven experience in presales or technical consulting roles in data analytics or big data projects.
- Hands on experience with data vendors like Cloudera, Informatica, Microsoft and IBM
- Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, SQL, and data visualization platforms is essential.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Analytical Skills and Consulting expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
