As a
Data Scientist Specialist at FlyAkeed, you will play a crucial role in analyzing complex datasets to derive actionable insights that inform our business strategies. You will work closely with various teams to understand their data needs and provide data-driven solutions that enhance our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data
- Build and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business challenges
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical tasks, and present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data science methodologies
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant data privacy regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a data science role with a strong focus on predictive modeling
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Familiarity with SQL and data manipulation in relational databases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to relay complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
