We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing database backups and recovery processes to safeguard data integrity and availability. The DBA will also address performance issues, lead a team of database professionals, implement security measures, and collaborate with developers to create efficient database solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage database backups and recovery processes to safeguard data integrity and availability.
- Analyze and resolve performance issues, including bottlenecks and slow queries.
- Lead and supervise a team of database administrators and developers, including task delegation and performance management.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect databases from unauthorized access and breaches.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal security policies.
- Collaborate with developers to design and implement efficient database solutions for applications.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of database systems, including configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Work closely with IT teams, business units, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve database management practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or related field.
- Enhancing database performance.
- Assisting developers in building highly scalable applications.
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Any certificates in the field.
Technical Skills:
- The SQL service DBA will provide core technical expertise to support and manage SQL Server in a highly Challenging environment.
