Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator with expertise in both SQL Server and noSQL like Cassandra or Azure Cosmos DB to join our team. You will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and ensuring the reliability of our databases.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain SQL Server and noSQL like Cassandra or Azure Cosmos DB. (NOT ORACLE)
- Ensure high availability and performance of database systems.
- Implement data partitioning, replication, and backup strategies.
- Monitor database health and performance, and optimize queries.
- Collaborate with developers to design and implement database schemas.
- Ensure database security and compliance with best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in database administration.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and noSQL like Cassandra or Azure Cosmos DB.
- Experience with data partitioning and replication.
- Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization.
- Understanding of database security principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
