Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Database Developer to join our team and help build and maintain the core data systems that power our PropTech platform. As a Database Developer at TruEstate AI, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems that can handle large-scale real estate data efficiently. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our platform's data is secure, scalable, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop databases to support application development projects.
• Manage and maintain existing databases, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
• Develop, test, and optimize SQL scripts for data manipulation and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, data scientists, etc.) to integrate databases into the broader technology stack.
• Monitor database performance and proactively resolve any issues related to capacity, speed, and accessibility.
• Perform database troubleshooting, backups, and recovery tasks.
• Maintain documentation of database structures and technical processes.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in database development and management (administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting).
• Strong proficiency in SQL scripting and query optimization.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Ability to design scalable, efficient, and normalized database structures.
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with data security and compliance standards.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.

Familiarity with cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, Google Cloud SQL).

Knowledge of real estate data models or previous experience working in the PropTech industry.

Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.

Experience with data migration and transformation projects.
