We proudly offer 25 bachelor's and diploma programs across our 5 Faculties on two campuses: Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, Faculty of Business, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Information Technology, and Faculty of Media and Public Relations.

Liwa College invites applications for the position of Dean of Faculty of Information Technology. This key leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to drive academic excellence and innovation in a dynamic educational environment. The successful candidate is expected to start in September 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Academic Leadership: Spearheaded the strategic direction and development of the Faculty of Information Technology, fostering a culture of academic excellence, research, and innovation.
• Curriculum Development: Oversee the design and implementation of cutting-edge curriculum in line with industry trends and technological advancements.
• Faculty Development: Support and mentor a team of dedicated faculty members, encouraging professional growth and collaboration.
• Student Engagement: Foster a supportive and enriching learning environment, ensuring student success, and engagement.

Requirements:

• Academic Rank of Professor
• Ph.D. in Computer Science or Related Field: A terminal degree in Computer Science or a related field from a reputed university is required to lead and guide academic programs effectively.
• 20+ Years of Academic Experience: Extensive experience in the field of Information Technology, demonstrating a deep understanding of higher education needs and trends.
• Proven Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of successfully leading academic initiatives and teams. Previous experience as a Head of Department, Associate Dean, or Dean is required.

Reporting Structure: The Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology will directly report to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, contributing to the overall academic vision of Liwa College.
