Demand Planner

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Forecast demand for assigned product categories/departments using statistical analysis and trend data.
• Review forecasts and adjust based on factors such as seasonality, promotions, competition etc.
• Develop reorder points, minimum/maximum order quantities and safety stock levels to optimize inventory levels and fulfillment.
• Review sales performance against forecasts regularly and investigate variances.
• Make updates to forecasts as needed.
• Create replenishment plans based on demand forecasts, delivery schedules and lead times. Ensure plans are optimized for cost and availability.
• Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Analyze sales/inventory data to identify opportunities to improve demand forecasting processes and systems. Make recommendations as needed.
• Troubleshoot fulfillment issues and coordinate with buying/operations teams to resolve gaps or shortages.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on inventory, transportation, demand signals and other key factors impacting the supply chain.

CAPABILITIES:

1. University graduate / or related diploma degree.
2. 2-5 years experience in Electronics retail.
3. English & Computer skills.
4. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel.
5. Attention to details and excellent organizational abilities.
6. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
7. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
