Role Purpose:
To lead, organize, direct, and control the operations of the nursing and related health services to ensure continuous improvement and maintenance of quality care, Nursing services efficiency, strategic alignment and execution with Al Salama Hospital's objectives and goals.
Key Accountabilities:
Policy and Standards Setting
- Develop and implement strategic objectives and goals for nursing services.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
- Develop policies for clinical incident management, investigations, and improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive quality and standards in nursing care.
Leadership and Management
- Provide strong leadership to the nursing team, promoting a culture of quality care.
- Drive compliance with policies and support quality care initiatives.
- Develop and implement the nursing strategic plan.
- Actively manage patient safety and risk processes.
- Facilitate effective workforce planning and resource management.
- Build and maintain relationships to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction and integrated care.
- Lead Department Meetings in Collaboration with Departments Leaders.
Operational Efficiency
- Compile and manage nursing budgets.
- Ensure optimal staffing levels and manage resources effectively.
- Training, Mentoring and Coaching Nursing Staff.
- Implement and maintain operational plans to achieve clinical and operational goals.
Compliance and Improvement
- Develop and implement standards for compliance and quality improvement.
- Monitor and analyse compliance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee the management of clinical incidents and risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and accreditation standards.
- Required Skills and Experience
- Experience
- Minimum 5 years nursing management experience as a Director.
- 10 years experience as a Unit Manager, Nursing Manager, or Deputy Nursing Director in a large private hospital in Saudi Arabia.
- Education
- Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized college.
- Desired: Master's Degree in Nursing from a recognized college.
- Professional Registration
- Licensed or eligible for licensing as a Specialist-Nurse with the relevant Healthcare Authority (SCFHS).
