Job summary/Role description
The candidate will manage the Project Budget by developing site cost control procedures, implementing a reporting system, and preparing budget estimates and cash flow forecasts. They will also monitor expenditures, provide cost advice, and address contractual issues to ensure effective cost management.
Duties and responsibilities
- Follows up the Project Budget;
- Develops and implements detailed project procedures related to Site Cost control and Material Control activities;
- Implements a proper reporting system towards Client and Corporate Management, in compliance with the Contract requirements and project procedures as well as with Corporate Standards;
- Prepares a Budgeting and Cost Management Plan including updates;
- Prepares a Budget Estimate and updates thereof for approval by the Client of construction costs;
- Monitors projected expenditure against allowances made in the approved Budget Estimate;
- Prepares and submits Project cash flow forecasts and monthly updates;
- Provides cost advice, including cost comparisons reviews of alternative design or construction solutions;
- Provides budget updates in such form and with such details as may be requested by the Client;
- Follows up of all contractual issues and monitor their cost impact.
Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications
University degree or diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.
Experience
- Significant experience in the industrial construction of large or XL gas plants.
- Covered a similar role in at least 2-3 projects of comparable size.
- A minimum of 18 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working on the Contractor side.
