We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of UAE experience in the interior fit-out industry, with a strong technical understanding of interior finishes and a proficiency in CAD. As a Design Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the design process, managing project documentation, coordinating between design teams, contractors, and clients, and ensuring that all design requirements and technical specifications are met to the highest standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in interior fit-out design coordination, with a focus on commercial and residential projects in the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of interior finishes including flooring, wall treatments, ceiling systems, and furniture.
• Strong technical understanding of construction and interior design processes, with an ability to interpret and implement design concepts into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar), with a strong ability to produce high-quality technical drawings and documentation.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
• Fluency in English is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the entire design process for interior fit-out projects, from concept through to completion.
• Work closely with the design team to develop and refine design concepts and ensure they align with client expectations and project goals.
• Provide technical support in the selection and specification of all interior finishes, including flooring, wall treatments, ceiling systems, Joinery, and furniture.
• Prepare and review design documentation, including CAD drawings, technical specifications, and materials schedules.
• Ensure that designs are compliant with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Review and approve shop drawings, mock-ups, and material samples.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Monitor the progress of design implementation on-site, conducting site inspections as required to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Guide technical solutions, design issues, and product alternatives.
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and suppliers to manage expectations and resolve design-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of design changes, approvals, and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
