Design Director - Real Estate

The Design Director orchestrates the strategic planning and design execution across a diverse portfolio, synergizing with multifaceted teams to transform visionary concepts into tangible realities. The Design Director sets the overarching strategy for the company's design direction, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and objectives. Orchestrating consultant design scopes for diverse projects, this individual leverages extensive architectural know-how and astute project management acumen. Their pivotal role includes fostering high-level stakeholder relationships and leading the entire design team, ensuring projects align seamlessly with company aspirations

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Master's or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Urban Planning, or related fields;
• Master's degree or MBA with a specialization in Management, Real Estate Development, or related field is highly desirable;
• Minimum of 18 years of experience in real estate design & development, with leadership roles in managing large teams and projects.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in the Middle East, specifically in the UAE.
• Strong network of contacts in real estate, governmental agencies, and related sectors in the UAE.
• Portfolio reflecting diverse design aesthetic sensibility across various projects.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is beneficial.
