Position Title: Designer
- Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to join our Aluminum and Glass Factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative and functional designs for various aluminum and glass products. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, material properties, and manufacturing processes related to aluminum and glass. The Designer will work closely with the engineering team, project managers, and clients to ensure that designs meet specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.
Design Development:
- Create detailed designs and drawings for aluminum and glass products, including windows, doors, facades, partitions, and other custom structures.
Utilize CAD software and other design tools to produce accurate and detailed plans.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and constraints.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are manufacturable and align with factory capabilities.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Material and Process Knowledge:
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and materials in the aluminum and glass industry.
Select appropriate materials and finishes for projects based on durability, aesthetics, and cost considerations.
- Understand the properties of aluminum and glass to ensure designs are practical and feasible.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough checks of designs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Address and resolve any design-related issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
- Implement design changes and modifications as needed.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain organized records of design files, project documentation, and correspondence.
Prepare and present design proposals, drawings, and reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Keep detailed notes on design changes, decisions, and project progress.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a designer in the aluminum and glass industry or a related field.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other design tools.- Strong understanding of material properties and manufacturing processes for aluminum and glass.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Knowledge of 3D modeling software and rendering techniques.- Experience with structural analysis and load calculations.
Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects in the aluminum and glass industry.
