Excellent opportunity for an experienced Development Chef that has worked on Food service accounts to relocate to Dubai.

My client is looking to take on a Development Chef to be based out of their culinary suite / head office in Dubai.

This is a highly successful global business known for its highly innovative products. This is a new role for the team due to increased workload. The role will report into the Executive Chef and Commercial Director. You will be working specifically on the companys foodservice accounts for example McDonalds, KFC etc.

They are looking for an experienced Chef by trade, someone who has the technical / knife skills but also the commercial understanding. Someone who has started off as a Chef in hospitality kitchens and worked their way up to become a Development Chef within a food manufacturing business developing commercially viable products for QSR / foodservice customers. Please do not apply unless you have worked as a Development Chef developing products for QSR (Quick service Restaurants) / foodservice.

The Development Chef in this business is a commercial role that provides culinary insights to support the sales team, to drive their unique selling proposition and present innovative taste solutions to customers using their various technologies.

You will work cross-functionally between research and development, sales, and marketing. Operating within the direct commercial team representing foodservice the successful professional will be an extension of the sales team and will support customer visits and presentations, with regular travel across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities:

• To use your creative skills in the kitchen to develop commercially viable products that will make a profit for the business and meet the customers requirements
• Generate ideas based on current and future food trends
• Present products to both internal and external customers
• Manage multiple projects within established timelines

• A proven tack record of menu development in fast-paced kitchen environments
• Excellent presentation and time management skills
• Food manufacturing experience is essential
